About Data-Fi
From the farm to family life, we make finding your connection feel simple.
Find your SIMOur story
We spent years helping farmers connect their tractors and equipment. Along the way, we learnt what it takes to keep rural life connected.
Then our customers began asking: could we help with their phones, their families and their businesses too?
That’s how Data-Fi grew — through people who knew us, trusted us and wanted the same straightforward help in the rest of their lives.

Grounded in rural life
From the kitchen table to the farmyard, the office to the open road, we understand that one connection has a lot to do.
We take the time to understand where you are and what you need, then help you choose a network and plan that fit. Clear advice, in plain English.
“You understand us, you know what we need, you make it simple and it just works.”
Rural roots. Global reach.
Our work has taken us beyond the UK, supplying SIMs to machinery dealers around the world. Today, we bring that same practical experience to your phone, your business and your connected equipment.

The Data-Fi guide
Two ways to organise device data, with different advantages depending on how your SIMs are used.
With an individual data plan, each SIM has its own monthly allowance. One device's unused data does not automatically become available to another device. This can be straightforward when a small number of devices have predictable usage, or when you want to see each connection's allowance separately.
Compare the included data with the actual job. A modest allowance may suit a device sending occasional readings, while another device may need more. Check the relevant out-of-allowance rate and what happens when an allowance is reached.
Pooled, sometimes called aggregated, data combines allowances from eligible SIMs into a shared monthly pot. A lighter-use device can help balance another device that uses more. A fleet with varied usage may therefore make better use of its total allowance, rather than leaving unused data on some SIMs while others exceed theirs.
Pooling does not create unlimited data or guarantee lower bills. The benefit depends on the number of eligible SIMs, their usage patterns and the specific commercial terms. A busy month across the whole fleet can still use up the shared allowance.
Find out which SIMs can join the pool, how the total allowance is calculated, when it resets and how any excess usage is charged. Ask whether there are restrictions by plan, network or destination, and what happens if you add or remove a SIM. Compare the full monthly charges and minimum commitments, not just a headline data amount.
This guide explains the concept. It does not mean pooled plans are available to purchase in the current UK online shop. The IoT plans displayed on this website and their selected service information describe what can be ordered online. If you manage several devices and want to discuss a shared-data arrangement, contact Data-Fi about availability and suitability before making a decision.
