About Data-Fi
From the farm to family life, we make finding your connection feel simple.
Find your SIMOur story
We spent years helping farmers connect their tractors and equipment. Along the way, we learnt what it takes to keep rural life connected.
Then our customers began asking: could we help with their phones, their families and their businesses too?
That’s how Data-Fi grew — through people who knew us, trusted us and wanted the same straightforward help in the rest of their lives.

Grounded in rural life
From the kitchen table to the farmyard, the office to the open road, we understand that one connection has a lot to do.
We take the time to understand where you are and what you need, then help you choose a network and plan that fit. Clear advice, in plain English.
“You understand us, you know what we need, you make it simple and it just works.”
Rural roots. Global reach.
Our work has taken us beyond the UK, supplying SIMs to machinery dealers around the world. Today, we bring that same practical experience to your phone, your business and your connected equipment.

The Data-Fi guide
The right mobile broadband plan starts with your location, device and everyday use.
Mobile broadband uses a mobile network to provide a data connection. In a compatible router, it can share that connection with other devices. Start with coverage at the exact building or installation, rather than assuming the strongest phone signal elsewhere will give the same result. Walls, terrain, antenna position, the router and network conditions can all affect performance.
Check the router or tablet model, whether it is network-locked and which SIM format it accepts. An eSIM needs a compatible device and service; it is not a direct replacement for a physical SIM in every router. A phone tariff may also have different permitted-use conditions from a broadband tariff.
List the devices and activities that will share the connection. Video calls, streaming, cloud backups, software updates and cameras can all influence the total. Existing usage records are more useful than guessing from the number of people alone. Allow for peaks as well as an average week.
Read the actual allowance and fair-use information. An unlimited label is not a guarantee of unlimited use without conditions, or of a particular download speed. Check out-of-bundle charges and any network-specific restrictions before agreeing.
Compare the minimum term, monthly charges, billing arrangements and cancellation information alongside the data. If the router will travel abroad, check the exact roaming destinations and allowance; UK availability does not establish overseas use. The Three plans currently offered here are UK-only, while the other networks have their own plan-specific roaming arrangements.
Explore our mobile broadband SIM options and the Vodafone, EE, O₂ and Three pages. For connected machinery rather than general internet access, consider an appropriate IoT service. Tell Data-Fi about your location and device if you would like help narrowing the options.
